Yes, and a few days later I found the piece of metal that had broke, then sheered off the spinning chimney cowl. It was razor sharp. Imagine if it had hit anyone!

In the deepest of storms, I think of old women in the pioneer days who stood at the door and looked out wondering what would be left to clean-up in the dawn.
